This page explains, in plain language, how Solotrode handles information submitted through the contact form on this site.

What we collect

The contact form collects only the fields the visitor chooses to submit, such as a name, an organization, an email address or other contact detail, an inquiry type, and a short message describing the inquiry. The form also runs a single, non-interactive bot-protection challenge from Cloudflare Turnstile.

How we handle it

When you submit the form, the fields you entered are sent by the site to Resend, a third-party transactional email provider that acts as a data processor for Solotrode. Resend delivers the inquiry as an email message to the recipient address configured for this site.

The submitted data is used only to deliver the inquiry email to the recipient address. Solotrode does not maintain an application database of inquiry submissions. Resend’s own retention practices apply to the email message that Resend transmits on Solotrode’s behalf; see Resend’s privacy policy for the current retention and processing terms.

The contact form is rate-limited at 5 requests per 10 minutes per IP address through a Cloudflare Pages rate-limit rule. Visitors who exceed the limit receive a 429 response and their submission is not forwarded.

Bot protection

The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection. Turnstile runs entirely in your browser and is operated by Cloudflare as a data processor. Turning off Turnstile or blocking its script will prevent the form from accepting submissions, because the challenge token is required for the server to verify that a real visitor is making the request.

What we do not do

Solotrode does not sell submitted information. Solotrode does not use submitted information for advertising or analytics. Solotrode does not load third-party tracking scripts as part of the contact form submission, and Solotrode does not embed the contact form inside a third-party iframe. The browser Content Security Policy for this site explicitly excludes the email provider’s API host (api.resend.com); Resend is contacted only server-side from a Cloudflare Pages Function.
